Sub-processors, and where data lives
Last updated 15 October 2026
Ruyo runs its backend, database and file storage in London. To transcribe conversations, write the coaching and answer questions, it sends data to the specialist providers below. Each one acts on our instructions, under its business or API terms, and only to provide its service to us.
Where data lives
Backend: Fly.io, London. Database and file storage, including recordings: Supabase, London. Data moves between the app, the backend and the providers over encrypted connections. Each business’s data is separated from every other business’s, recordings are in private storage, and provider keys are held only on our servers.

Where a provider processes data outside the UK, the transfer is made under a mechanism recognised by UK law: the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses, or the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified under it, as applicable to that provider. We do not use conversations to train AI models of our own, and we turn off model training where a provider offers that setting.
